Hearing Care Provider Expands Product Line by Offering Hamilton CapTel

Today, Hamilton CapTel announced a new marketing agreement with HearUSA, Inc.(AMEX:EAR), one of the nation's largest and fastest growing networks of hearing health care providers. HearUSA is to offer the ground-breaking Hamilton CapTel telephone, which displays every word a caller says, through HearUSA's Web site (www.hearingshop.com) and a nationwide network of hearing health care providers and hearing health care insurance subscribers.

The announcement was made in San Diego during AudiologyNOW!, the annual conference of the American Academy of Audiologists.

Easy to use, the Hamilton CapTel phone works like any other telephone, with one major advantage: using a free captioning service, it displays every word the caller says throughout the conversation, enabling users with hearing loss to listen to the caller's voice, while reading the written captions on the phone's bright display screen. Access to high-speed Internet service is required.

"This technology provides a solution to an issue faced by millions of Americans," said Anne Girard, director of marketing for Hamilton CapTel.

"As we expand our national presence, we envision CapTel filling a critical need for our customers and, through them, directly to patients across the country," stated Jeremy Moser, director of network operations and www.hearingshop.com, HearUSA's retail Web site.

Hamilton CapTel will be included in the HearUSA Provider's Advantage program, which leverages the buying power of HearUSA, with its network of more than 2,000 hearing health care providers throughout the country. Through Providers Advantage, hearing health care providers can purchase CapTel products directly.

"We are truly excited about our alliance with HearUSA, Inc.," stated John Nelson, president of Hamilton CapTel. "We believe our products offer a valuable extension to their current product line. Furthermore, we are confident their extensive network will expand our ongoing efforts to broaden our program to educate hearing health
care providers on the appropriate role of CapTel for their patients."

"Communicating on the telephone can be a challenge for people with even a mild hearing loss. We are excited to be able to offer this product and make available a full range of solutions to all of our patients," stated Moser. "Hamilton CapTel's innovative technology provides patients a solution to effectively communicate with family and friends."
